My one goal or way of life is to continuously learn. Although always regarding IT, he has worked in a number of fields, all of which have been instrumental in helping him improve aspects of himself as well as broadening his experience and experiences in IT, from support to international work to IT in the financial industry.

My Skills

Having been introduced to computers at a very young age, I started with batch programming earlier than I can remember and so with a continuous interest in computers, was sent by my parents to learn Visual Basic (and a start of C++) through Future Kids during my primary school years. In high school I started building computers for myself and friends/family and for whomever knew I could. At the same time I enjoyed playing with sounds and audio creation tools as well as 3D modelling and some very rudementary graphic design work but the main goal having been to see how quickly I could learn to use each tool. Of course through all this I learned much about Windows and most programs in the office suite and started learning Linux and entering a whole new challenging world which has kept my interest piqued to this day. My work career however start on a marketing path and after a short period of support in London, I moved into the project management world where I am now, focussing on software estimation and general consulting where needed.

Junior PMO Consultant

  • Starting as a junior project consultant Jeffrey gained experience in software estimation, parametric models and the integration of these estimates into client project and business processes.
  • The extent of this exposure included Prince, PMI and SDLC methodologies on projects at financial and corporate institutions additionally helping to enhance the services and expand product offerings.
  • Working with the Project Management Office within a major financial institution, he has also experienced related requirements gathering and documentation including support, reporting and process improvement.

  • Jeffrey took on the role of PMO consultant and estimation team lead which involved the day to day running and management of the team and service to the client, reporting, and communication to different management levels as well as continuous work to improve the service delivered to the client.
  • Updating and providing training on processes followed and presenting this as well as feedback to client teams.
  • This included customizing and working with Core Teams to conduct estimation projects to produce the best estimation output in consistent “best practice” formats (reporting templates and schedules).

  • Additionally in aid of IP generation and tailoring of planning and reporting requirements for clients Jeffrey is well versed in using macro automation to support processes and required life-cycle changes and output.
  • Jeffrey is an accredited AGPM Agile Project Manager and Prince II practitioner
